So it's been a little while since I've posted anything here, mostly because RL stuff has been really crazy. My dad was in the hospital for over a week and we are still not 100% sure what is going on with him. And then just the regular insanity that seems to permeate my real life on a everyday basis.

I freakin' love getting mail and today was an awesome mail day! Huge thanks to Ailene (bluejeanbaby01 ) for the card. It's already hanging on my door. :)

Secondly, Tray (eertyecal ) THANK YOU SO MUCH! It was so sweet of you! I have the garland on my monitor now and I think my baby sis and I may tackle the magic snow. :) Also, I ( took a pic! )

Secondly, our local conservatory is having a Gingerbread House competition and me being a lover of all things holiday had to go check it out. Some of these houses were amazing so I thought I would share some of the best ones with my flist.

So I wasn't around for much of the weekend because of real life stuff. Nothing terribly exciting I'm afraid. I did get to go on a mini day trip the end of last week to Yellow Springs which is this tiny little town where everything is super new age. The whole town was very quirky and I enjoyed the trip. Oh, and saw this sign and it made me laugh:

Hey! So, I have been a complete internet slacker this weekend, but in my defense we have been having some amazing weather. Yesterday I went to Gallery Hop which if you are ever in Columbus and in to art is THE place to go and spent most of today out and about too.

I went to the Historical Center. They were having a Norman Rockwell exhibit where they brought his works in to a 3d format. I have to say, I found the statues a bit creepy and they may be the oddest things I've ever posted on this blog, but... ( here they are. )
